The Guides Office organises numerous supervised activities, for learning about the mountains, or having fun at altitude.
In July and August, check out the weekly programme of trips, and find one that suits your level and goals:

 
- glacier trekking, hiking on a glacier, learning about crevasses… the Diablerets, the Mer de glace…for beginners or the experienced. 90 € per person (guide + cable car).

- climbing course  over 3 days : two 2-hour sessions at Pas de Morgins and Plaine Dranse and a 3-hour session at the Pas de l'Ours (le Biot). From age five, for children, teenagers and adults.

75 € per person (equipment supplied).
 - climbing sesions: 2-hours for all over the age of 5 . 25 euros per person (equipment supplied).

Abseiling down the Essert waterfall : half a day, from age 14 . 50 € per person (equipment supplied).
- 
 - climbing wall, for all levels, easy to advanced
- trekking with donkeys for both small and big
- hiking up local summits (Mont de Grange, Mont Chauffé, the Cornettes de Bise, the Dent d’Oche)
 - discover the Saix de Miolène via ferrata in Abondance
 
Weekly programme available from the Guides Office (as you come into the village, next to the shop Vival) and at the Abondance Tourist Office.
Open in July and August from Monday to Saturday, from16h30 to 18h and on Sundays from 9h to 12h.
