Let us tell you all about the history of the Abbey of Abondance.
 
Discover the Abbey church and its remarkable architecture and its surprising “trompe-l’oeils”.

Take a walk through the cloister to admire the Gothic architecture of the magnificent courtyard where the monks once walked... and discover the secrets of the 16th century paintings that decorate it.
 
Our guide will then take you on a guided tour of the exhibit "From History to Art: sacred heritage of the Abondance valley" set up in the old monastery.

The church and the cloister are specially equipped with access ramps for handicapped people. However, please note that the cloister floor is uneven and some people may need assistance.
